HCJ CPAs & Advisors is pleased to welcome Jakob Ligon, Adrienne Sparks, Chloe Wilson and Caleb Merches to the firm. Ligon and Wilson will be working in the Little Rock office’s Tax department as staff accountants, and Sparks also joins the firm’s Little Rock office as a staff accountant on the Client Accounting Services team. Merches comes on board as a staff accountant in the Jonesboro office’s Audit department. 

Ligon is a recent graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2022. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and, while at school, served as an ambassador for the College of Business. Lignon currently resides in Conway, Arkansas, where his hobbies include spending time with his wife, working out, and playing video games.  

In 2019, Sparks graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She then earned her Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution in 2020. Sparks currently resides in Bryant, Arkansas, with her husband, their son, and their two dogs. 

Wilson earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration in Management and Business Ethics from Harding University in 2022. She currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas, with her husband and a pet rabbit named “Bunny.” They will welcome their first baby in June. 

Merches graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance in 2022. While at university, Merches was a member of the Dean’s List and graduated Magna Cum Laude. A former competitive soccer player, Merches enjoys playing sports in his free time and cheers for Manchester United Football Club. He currently resides in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
